• A musical bridge is just like a physical bridge, it takes you from one place to another.
• The notes in a chord can be played in any arrangement. If you're playing the A minor chord, the A doesn't have to come at the "bottom." As long as you're playing an A, C, and E, you're playing an A minor chord.
• Rule: To find the relative minor key of any major key, go down three half steps. The relative minor of C is A minor.
Improvisation ideas:
• Invent something using just notes of the chord.
• Divide the scale into three different sections and improvise using just those notes.
• Alternate between notes of the scale and notes of the chord.
